Depending on your skin and individual needs, your Aesthetic Healthcare Professional will choose the most suitable product from the saypha® HA filler portfolio to fulfill your needs. The procedure itself may take approximately 30 minutes after you complete a consultation with your Aesthetic Healthcare Professional.

Injections may cause some pain during and after the treatment. The addition of lidocaine in the products and injections done with thin wall needles may help enhance patient comfort.

The results of an aesthetic treatment with saypha® may last for months however, they are not permanent. Individual results will vary depending on the product used and the injection area treated. Studies show that results of the saypha portfolio of products can last up to 6 to 12 months.4,6,7

Patients on anticoagulants or patients receiving platelet aggregation inhibitors, should consult with their Healthcare Provider prior to being treated with saypha®. After the injection, you should not apply make-up for 12 hours and avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and UV, extreme temperatures (saunas/Turkish baths for one week.) Who should avoid treatment with hyaluronic acid filler?

The following are important considerations for you to discuss with your Aesthetic Healthcare Professional before a saypha® HA dermal filler treatment: 

  • You have any known allergies, especially to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine hydrochloride, or other local anesthetics
  • You have a history of autoimmune disease or are receiving immunotherapy
  • You should inform your healthcare provider about any medications you are currently taking, including medications which prolong bleeding, such as anticoagulants, or if you are receiving platelet aggregation inhibitors
  • You have recently had or are planning to have other skin surface treatments, such as laser therapy, chemical peeling, or dermabrasion
  • You have skin infections or inflammation, such as acne or cold sores
  • You tend to develop hypertrophic scarring
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding, or you are under 18 years of age
  • Potential side effects associated with saypha® products include temporary injection site reactions such as redness, swelling, itching, pain, firmness, bumps, bruising, and discoloration. These reactions may occur immediately or may be delayed and may last for up to a week. If these reactions last more than a week discuss with your physician. As with any injection, there is a risk of infection. This is not a complete list of side effects.
  • Serious side effects with saypha® products may include cases of skin necrosis, bacterial infection, formation of granulomas, cystic and acneiform lesions and hypersensitivity have been reported.
