
Safety Information
The saypha® range of Hyaluronic Acid fillers are resorbable viscoelastic injectable gel implants indicated to correct nasolabial folds or midface volume deficit. Your healthcare provider will ask about your medical history to determine if saypha® products are appropriate for you. The following are important considerations for you to discuss with your healthcare provider before treatment:
- You have any known allergies, especially to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine hydrochloride, or other local anesthetics
- You have a history of autoimmune disease or are receiving immunotherapy
- You should inform your healthcare provider about any medications you are currently taking, including medications which prolong bleeding, such as anticoagulants, or if you are receiving platelet aggregation inhibitors
- You have recently had or are planning to have other skin surface treatments, such as laser therapy, chemical peeling, or dermabrasion
- You have skin infections or inflammation, such as acne or cold sores
- You tend to develop hypertrophic scarring
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding, or you are under 18 years of age
- Potential side effects associated with saypha® products include temporary injection site reactions such as redness, swelling, itching, pain, firmness, bumps, bruising, and discoloration. These reactions may occur immediately or may be delayed and may last for up to a week. As with any injection, there is a risk of infection. This is not a complete list of side effects.
